Pierre Schneider (site owner & photographer):
lives in Kassel, Germany. His mother’s beautiful gardens inspired the creation of this website.

He goes to her house frequently to help her with her garden and yard. Pierre loves working on his computer, biking, and flying remote control planes.

Pierre enjoys taking pictures with his digital camera and has taken most of the flower pictures found on this web site.

Candee Stark (writer): lives in West Virginia USA and is the mother of two boys. She is a Reading Specialist in a local elementary school and has spent the last two and a half years earning her Master’s degree.

In her free time she is involved with Community Theater, working on the computer, writing, watching her boys play sports, walking, gardening, and spending time outdoors. Candee enjoys creating container garden displays for her patio, indoors, and as gifts for friends. Her new passion is her weight loss related blog.

Special thanks to Thea Schneider: Thea lives in Kassel, Germany and has been gardening for thirty years. She spends 3-4 days a week in her garden and she loves Roses, Zinnias, Carnations, and Dahlias. Her biggest gardening disaster happened one spring when she lost her entire indoor cacti collection because she brought them outside too soon and they were exposed to frost.

Thea offers the following advice to new gardeners: Plan your garden before you start to dig! Design your garden by using a combination of annuals and perennials to create continuous blooms from early spring to the end of the summer.
