:: Muscari / Grape Hyacinths ::

Muscari 30 species ready for your flower garden. Fragrant Muscari, especially Grape Hyacinths, look absolutely breath-taking when planted in huge drifts.

Imagine a sea of blue spreading out along the edge of the woods or running along a fence line...fantastic! This easy to grow spring flower needs to be planted in September or October in rich soil that drains well.

You can improve your soil by adding a slow release organic fertilizer. Additionally, to encourage Grape Hyacinths to multiply spread organic fertilizer over the area after blooms have faded but before foliage disappears.

Flowering Time: Early to late spring, depending on climate zone you plant them
Height: 4-12 inches
Hardy: zones 4-8/ All species will naturalize extremely easily (i.e. come back year after year and gradually multiply); that is, unless you plant them in completely sunless or swamplike conditions!
